BarakaSouqs is a cross-border marketplace operated from Jeddah, connecting independent sellers with shoppers who want the range of a global souq and the certainty of a local one.

Who we are

BarakaSouqs is owned and operated by Ain Kaf Seen Alif Establishment For General Contracting, an establishment registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We run the platform, the payment flow and the support desk; the goods themselves are listed, priced and shipped by the independent sellers who trade here.

Legal entity and registration

These details identify the company behind this website. They appear on every invoice we issue and can be verified with the Saudi Ministry of Commerce.

Any notice with legal effect should be sent to support@barakasouqs.com and addressed to the registered name above.

How the marketplace works

We are a marketplace, not the retailer. When you place an order the contract of sale is formed directly between you and the seller whose store the item came from. BarakaSouqs provides the storefront, takes payment on the seller's behalf, and holds their funds until after delivery. One checkout may split into several parcels when items come from different stores; each is shipped and tracked separately.

• Sellers are verified before they can list. Every store submits a trade licence and owner identification, which our team reviews before approval.
• Money is held, not forwarded. A seller's earnings are released 7 days after delivery, so there is a window in which a return can be settled from the sale itself.
• Prices settle in US dollars. Other currencies are converted at an indicative rate for display; your bank settles at its own.

What we are responsible for

We are accountable for the platform: the accuracy of what we publish about an order, the security of payment, the handling of your data, and the escalation process when a seller does not respond. Product quality, description accuracy, packing and dispatch are the seller's responsibility, and the warranty on an item is given by the seller or its brand rather than by us. Where a seller breaks the rules we set, we can withhold their payout, remove listings, or close the store.

Our team answers in Arabic and English, Sunday to Thursday, 09:00–18:00 Arabia Standard Time. Order-specific questions are fastest through Account → Support Tickets, because the ticket carries the order with it.
